I was born, raised and educated in Sarnia, Ontario.
I graduated in 1972 from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. While working as an engineer, mostly in the welding/metallurgical field, I knew I didn’t really want to be an engineer, so I was constantly searching for a career that I would like and enjoy.
Through a serendipitous series of events, I discovered that I was only happy when I was helping someone and since chiropractic got rid of my chronic restless legs, upper and lower back pain, I decided to quit engaging and enrol at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto.
A couple of years after graduating from CMCC in 1981, more serendipity occurred and as a result I enrolled at the Ontario College of Naturopathic Medicine (OCNM) in Toronto in 1983. After graduating as a naturopathic doctor in 1986, my wife, I and 4 kids relocated to London, Ontario where I opened the London West Health Centre, which is still in operation at 390 Commissioners Road West.
The London West Health Centre is a family oriented clinic that treats patients of all ages for acute and chronic conditions. Some patients are only chiropractic patients, some are only naturopathic patients, but most patients avail themselves of both of the health care disciplines I’m registered in.
